If you want guitar rock, you go to a pub gig. If you want folky sounds, an open mic night… DJs, to a nightclub. You can see established electronic music bands at big venues, but where will you find the emerging artists of tomorrow? Electrosonica of course!
Electrosonica is a new event which will be a showcase for keyboard and electronica-based songwriters. Electrosonica nights will take over a nice café and fill it with a variety of live electronic music performers for your listening pleasure. All you have to do is come.
We plan to have two or three performers at each event, so you’ll hear a decent length of set from each, rather than the “two songs only” rules of most open-mic events.
Want to know when and where Electrosonica is happening? Sign up for our email list or join the Electrosonica Facebook Group. We promise to only email you about Electrosonica events, and we won’t give your address away to anyone else. There is also an unsubscribe link at the bottom of each email.

Do you play acoustic piano, synths, live looping material with a lyrical content? Does it only ever get heard in your bedroom or MySpace page? Paddy Uglow has started a new music event purely for intelligent, progressive, lyrical electronica and needs musicians to join in. If you’re a songwriter and performer (or know someone who is) and would like to be involved, contact Paddy with a link to where he can hear your music.
We can supply you with the PA and a MIDI piano to play, and a laptop if you require any backing tracks to be played (it’s not cheating if you’ve not got enough hands to play everything at once!)
